Kelviden Farm

Barn Rules and Regulations

1.        Helmets must be worn at all times when mounted

2.       Kelviden Farm requests that you leave all dogs at home.  If you must bring your dog, it must be leashed and not disruptive at all times.

3.       There will be no smoking anywhere on the property of Kelviden Farm.

4.       Absolutely no one may ride a horse belonging to Kelviden Farm without an employee of Kelviden Farm on the premises.

5.       It is recommended that Boarders do not ride alone as well.

6.       There will be absolutely no jumping outside of lessons with a Kelviden Instructor.

7.       Boarders may ride during lessons, however the lesson has the right of way at all times.  It is the responsibility of the Boarder to stay out of the way.

8.       Please announce yourself before coming in the arena (yell “door” or “coming in” and then wait and look to be sure it is clear).

9.       Kelviden farm will provide supervision for children taking lessons only during scheduled lesson times.  Kelviden farm is not responsible for supervision before or after the scheduled lesson times including tacking and untacking.  Parents are responsible for their own child during these times.  Kelviden Farm can offer supervised tacking instruction.  Please speak to a Kelviden farm employee for more information.

10.   Kelviden Farm is not responsible for supervising any guests of students or boarders.  All Minors not taking lessons MUST be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.                   

11.  Board checks are due the 25th of the PRECEDING month.  Balances unpaid by the 30th of each month will receive a $5.00 per day service charge until the balance is paid in full.   

12.  Please read the general fees page carefully for lesson policies and rules

13.  All returned checks will be charged a $25.00 fee in addition to any late payment charges.

14.   Once you sign up for a show you are committing to going to that show.  If you cancel more than a week in advance of the entry closing date, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.  If you cancel less than a week before the entry closing date, you will be charged in full
